Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Launching on April 29

Alright people have been eagerly waiting for the camera-focussed variant of Samsung Galaxy S5 aka Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will not have to wait longer to know the details of this smartphone.

Samsung has sent out invites for the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom or Galaxy K. As per the invite, the smartphone will be unveiled on April 29, 2014 at Singapore's Red Dot Museum. Though Samsung has not specifically mentioned which smartphone it will be unveiling but the invite reads, "Kapture the moment, which makes us pretty certain that the camera-centric Galaxy S5 Zoom will be the smartphone that will be launched.

As per the earlier speculations, this smartphone is expected to come with 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. The smartphone is expected to pack in six-core Samsung Exynos 5 Hecta SoC, however, Samsung has a tendency to offer different chipset in different markets, so we will have to wait till the India launch to know what Samsung is offering to us. Other than that Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoon (Samsung Galaxy K) will have 2GB of RAM and run on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). Moving on to the camera, Samsung Galaxy K is said to come with 20MP rear-facing snapper has 10x optical zoom and a Xenon flash.
