Micromax has freshly launched two new budget phones with 3G support and Android running by default. The Bolt S300 and the Bolt D320 are the latest additions to the long list of Micromax budget phones.
Both smartphones are running Android 4.4 KitKat, with no information on the status of the Lollipop update rollout. But that's not much of a concern as these are budget phones and KitKat is still a very capable mobile operating system.

The Bolt S300 is already available for purchase through key retailers with a price tag of Rs. 3,300. The D320 on the other hand will not reach customers' hands until mid-April with no information on the pricing as of yet.
While all the focus is on Micromax's high end offerings, it's good to see that the company is also focused on the budget segment.
"India today has only 70mn 3G subscribers, which is a mere 10 percent of the overall subscribers. With today's launch we are reinforcing our commitment to democratize technology, making 3G available at affordable price points and urging more users to join the mobile broadband journey," said the CEO of Micromax, Vineet Taneja.
